Le Cheminel

So far this year this lake has been booked most weeks and on each occasion the fish just seem to keep coming. In early August a party of 4 anglers enjoyed what most anglers dream of on a carp fishing holiday.

194 carp to 37lb with the largest being a fish that was stocked in 2007 at only 29lb. Several others over the 30lb mark including a 34lb common and several carp bouncing around the 25-35lb mark. There were 40 carp over 25lb with the majority of the remainder between 18lb - 25lb. Well done guys!

In September, Keith Williams from Viper Bait Boats will be filming the New Viper Promotional DVD with the guys from Carp4u.co.uk on this venue. Reports have been coming out of all of the venues recently with carp up to over 40lb becoming a regular occurance.

Lac Serenity has seen some great action recently along with several large carp and a few surprises along with some good performances from Etang De Chanet and the guys over there. Reglular catches to over 40lb are becoming fairly common.

Andys catch report 9th Aug - 13th Aug 2010

Guests Andy and his son Rory over from Hampshire for a short midweek session managed to get 9 fish on the bank and lost 5 which was pretty good considering they only fished for a little more than 3 days the fish landed were Mirrors of 21 lb, 22.8 lb, 24 lb, 26 lb, 26.8 lb, 30 lb, 30 lb, 34 lb and a wildie of 8 lb. Well done guys.

Catch report for w/c 31/7/10

Rob and Jacqui from South London, fished at Carpquarry. Only Rob was fishing.  I think he had a bit of a frustrating week with losing 6 fish but he still managed to land 4 fish 25lb, 26lb8oz, 29lb and a new PB at 31lb4oz. Most of the action was close in swims 1 and 6 and all the takes were on the lake bait (Peach and blackpepper and Squid scopex) and robin red boilies on a bed of Carpquarry pellet. Should have some new pics on the website soon.

Etang Loison is again producing the goods with regular carp up to 40lb. The Dutch Guys are having it right off on this venue, so the guys from the UK had better start booking this venue now if you want to confirm a booking for 2011. Places are being booked very quickly. 

Likewise Etang De Brigueuil has just sent us over thier catch reports for the last couple of weeks and as usual are banking some pretty impressive carp. Check out below for the last few weeks on the place.

The Guys from Holland are just loving this venue. Just have a look at this weeks captures. Carp up to 40lb are now coming out on a regular basis and numerous upper 30's are gracing the banks. Bookings are already starting to go for this venue for next year so you best be quick if you want to book here.

It's been a bit of a mixed bag of weather this week at this venue, which has seen the catch rates go up and down during the week. the chalet fished very well with 23 fish out 5 x 30`s to 39.10lbs and 2 x 40`s 40.15lbs. I only managed 5 this week to 32.8lbs. Daniel from Germany landed 23 carp from swim 11 to 35lbs. Luc Sienack from Belgium had 4 to 38.8lbs on swim 2 and Mr lobeau on swim 8 landed one fish for the week a 46lbs mirror.

Etang Loison

Recently both the lakes "High Banks & The Oaks" have been producing well with numerous fish of 30 to 40lb being taken on a regular basis. This venue is new to the UK market. Prodominently fished by the Dutch, this lake is available to the UK Market and is definitley one not to be missed. So far the record stands at 81 carp in one week by two dutch anglers featured in our May catch reports, but the catches from here are becoming better and better each week. Get booking now to avoid disappointment.

Etang De Brigueuil

Well again we had another good week with 92 fish out to 6 anglers. 11 x 30`s to 38lbs and 3 x 40`s to 41.2lbs. I managed 12 fish to 36lbs (franks commonagain) Mr Schuerman on swim 11 had 11 fish to 37.8lbs. Jens and Isabella andswim 10 had 22 fish to 35.12lbs and Guus and Tom on swim 2 had 6 fish to 29lbs. But your star player this week was Bastian ,who after arriving a day late and not getting fishing til 12 o clock on Sunday night after watching his country lost to Spain in the World Cup Final proceeded to land 41 fishfrom swim 6 he broke his PB six times in a row which started off at 29lbs
and was 41.2lbs by the end of the week. 15 x 20`s to 29.8lbs and 7 x 30`s 30.12lbs 32.6lbs 32.10lbs 33.4lbs 33.14lbs 34.2lbs 38lbs and 3 x 40`s 40.4lbs 40.15lbs 41.2lbs not bad for a 16 year old angler, so well done
again Bastian.

Le Cheminel - Latest News and Catch Reports - May 2010

May saw the best of the action at Le Cheminel. Firstly at the beginning of the month, there where some surpirse fish which the owner didn't even know he had appear with a session from two guys from Holland. The biggest surprise was a large common weighing in at 43lb which the owner believes is the one he stocked in at 39lb. So the fish are definitely growing well.

The Carp4u team visited Le Cheminel for a session and a spot of filming on the venue. The Team consisting of Andy Thomson (Carp4u) Matty Martin (Carp4u) Robert Watts (Carp Alley Tackle) Robin from (Angling Direct in Norwich) and Lenny and Linda Smith who won a weeks holiday at the Carp Show at the Five Lakes Complex had a great weeks fishing with a few lumps to top it off. We visited the lake on the 22nd of May in 30 degree heat but still managed to bank 164 carp throughout the week between us. Linda was also the proud captor of her first ever carp at 22lb.

Most of the large carp decided they would feed during darkness due to the hot temperatures at the beginning of the week making filming a little difficult but we still managed to grab a few decent captures.  

Matty Martin (Carp4u Carp Consultant) had the biggest carp out with a stunning 32lb 3oz common

and Andy from Carp4u had a total of 32 carp that week with 24 carp well over 20lb up to 29lb 12oz.

The Carp4u team where at this venue to film  a short online video for the website. Andy was round the lake getting what shots he could throughout the trip. Check out the short video on the front page to see a taster of this venue and some of the carp caught.

The last week in May was a great week for Paul and Clinton Layzell. Paul took the largest of the carp that week with a 34lb common and Clinton couldn't quite get over the 30lb barrier, but had several carp that week up to 28 and 29lb. They banked a total of 55 carp that week.

Etang Loison - Latest News and Catch Reports - April 2010

Etang Loison has got off to a flying start with multiple catches over the last few weeks. The best of the bunch was by two dutch anglers taking 81 carp from the OAKS Lake.

The average weight was 26lb with the best two fish being two known residents who have already packed on a couple of pound. one is a 43lb carp known as Wrinkles and the other is a prime specimen 44lb now known as Mellie after the angler who caught her.

Le Cheminel - Latest News and Catch Reports - April 2010

Le Cheminel has got off to a flyer. Last week saw a group from the RAF bank a huge haul of large carp. Steve the owner has yet to confirm the full amount from the lads, but on the first 3 days of phoning us he stated there where 18 carp banked to 29lb.

With the next few weeks having anglers on the venues, we should start to see the big carp start to move in on the baits.

Etang de Chanet - Latest News and Catch Reports -April 2010

The season is well and truly underway over at Etang De Chanet. We have had fisherman on the lake for the last three weeks and they have all had a very active fishing experience.

The first week a group of 6 had around 40 carp with an average size of 32lb and the first catfish landed from the lake and the week after a father and son had 18 large carp. Last week we had a group of 7 fishing on the lake who had a non stop action visit with each angler banking multiple carp over 30lb and the 2nd catfish out of the lake. 

All three groups loved Etang De Chanet are booking up again for this year with one group coming back next month and another looking at July. My advice is if you love fishing come and see for yourself at this stunning venue!

Lac Serenity - Latest News and Catch Reports - April 2010

Lac serenity had a brilliant start to the season with a group of anglers taken several carp over their weeks stay. Best of the bunch was two guys who bank several carp to over 30lb and even managed to break the catfish record on the lake.
