An exclusive 3 acre carp venue in Brittany France only 90 minutes from ferry ports. Carp Quarry has been set up for the discerning anglers who want peace and tranquillity at a truly stunning venue with top quality carp fishing where you and your party have exclusive use of the 3 bedroom gite/cottage and the lake.

Carp Quarry is equally owned by Gordon and Andy and their families. The partnership between them all works very well. Andy’s knowledge of nature ensures that the wildlife together with the fauna and flora of the lake stays as natural and environmentally friendly as possible. This coupled with Gordon’s knowledge of fishing ensures that the anglers and the fish are catered and cared for so as to produce one of the best small carp fisheries around. The girls work together to ensure the gite provides all the comforts and facilities that you and your friends and family may require. The owners do not live far from the fishery and are always available to offer you all the support, knowledge and advice that you may require to ensure that you have the ultimate carp fishing experience at Carp Quarry.

Carpquarry is situated about 2 miles from the market town of Callac in Dept 22 in Brittany in a small beautiful village of Saint Servais. The village of St Servais is very quiet and picturesque dominated by the church in the village square with a small river running through the village past a couple of small lakes where there are lovely walks. The village has a bar that sells a few groceries or is nice just to get a coffee in or a cold beer and it is only a few hundred yards walk from the lake.

Callac the main town is about 5 mins drive , It has a couple of supermarkets, butchers, newsagents, bakers, cake shop and many bars and restaurants. There is also a market on a Wednesday, or if you prefer you could just have a walk around its large lake.
Within ½ hour drive you have the larger towns of Carhaix with the Brest canal close by also the medieval walled city of Guingamp. Beffou forest is also within 30 min drive. The very pretty little city of Guerlesquin know as the small city of character with its own large lake and beach is not much further than Beffou forest.
Within ¾ hour drive you can be at the town of Huelgoat with its large lake and iceage revine, a must see. Or also in 45 mins you could be at the very pretty large coastal town of Morlaix and the other pink granite coastline of north Brittany. Or if you want shopping you can get to the large cosmopolitan city of St Brieuc within an hour.
We are situated right in the heart of Brittany so is an excellent base to explore the region.
Getting here is very easy, Carpquarry is right in the centre of Brittany with the ferry ports of Roscoff from Plymouth and St Malo from Portsmouth only 90mins drive away and the ferry port of Caen from Portsmouth about 3 hours drive.
The airport of Brest is just over an hour away and Dinan airport not much further with Rennes airport about 3 hours away.
Taking the Eurostar is of course another option.
