Etang De Brigueuil

Etang de Brigueuil was first taken over in November 2004. A huge amount of  work has gone in to turning this lake into a first class carp fishing venue.

With a total of 12 constructed swims, including some doubles, the owners have been created some excellent facilities to enable fishermen to access all the main areas around the lake. All the swims are spacious and extremely well maintained.

The lake dates back to 1792 and is governed by Napoleonic law so there is no need for a rod license and night fishing is allowed.

It was previously owned by a succession of French families over the previous years and the last of which maintained the lake very well despite the fact that they had no intention of managing it as a commercial fishery.

It was, however, fished on a small scale through the summer months by holiday makers staying in the chalet.  Since the lake being taken over by english owners Andy and Tracey it is now available to the UK market and is highly recommend to any angler wishing to come to France for a great carp fishing holiday and also to experience the french way of life for an unforgetable holiday. to experience the stock smaller private lakes.

The fish stocks that were introduced are now growing rapidly and the lake boasts a good head of 20's 30’s 40’s up to over 50lb and the lake is now in tip top condition and ready for any parties wanting to fish here at this great lake.
